Information:
A partial eclipse of the Sun was visible from Australia, New Zealand and part of Antarctica. From Perth the eclipse began before sunrise and ended around 8am.
Observation:
I was staying at a cousins farm north of the wheatbelt town of Kalannie for a weeks observing around new moon. Unfortunately that morning was quite cloudy and only about five minutes of observing was done. Observations were done using 10x50 binoculars projected onto white cardboard. Due to the clouds I didn't bother setting up my telescope.
