A total lunar eclipse was visible across Australia.
Twilight interfered with the late stages of the eclipse for observers in
the Eastern States, however Perth was able to view the entire eclipse.

I observed the entire eclipse from my suburban backyard in both 10x50 binoculars and 8" telescope. It certainly was a beautiful event even with the naked eye.
