I picked up this camera in October 2000 for around $900. It was an excellent purchase which I am
very happy with. If I had to go back and choose a new camera I would get one with perhaps a better
zoom. Check out my photo album for some examples of
what this camera can do. Most pictures are taken at Super Quality. There is also an option for Super High
Quality.
In January 2001 the pin holding the memory card door broke. In March 2001 the camera just stopped
working. It had to be sent to Olympus in the Eastern States which took six weeks to repair it
under warranty.
I have three memory cards. An 8mb card that came with the camera, another 8mb card Kylie sweet talked the camera man
into throwing in with the deal, and a 32mb card I picked up at Harris Technology
for a good price. An 8mb card will hold about 36 pictures at Super Quality, and over 100 at High Quality.
